Payton's art from the Pretty Stoned Series captures an essence of rebellion through elements of glamour, femininity and bright color contrasted with vulgar, edgy and risqué aspects. This portrays the multifaceted nature of humans, particularly of women & femmes. Her inspiration for that collection of work came from the ladies that love to light up. 

She now lives in San Diego, CA, but grew up in Charleston, SC where smoking weed is still a taboo, especially for women. Pretty Stoned Art was born by the desire to *spark* conversation and action around de-stigmatizing marijuana and its benefits, so that we can collectively have equitable access to this healing plant medicine. Pretty Stoned Art evolved into what is now PM Projects, a creative studio enhancing lives through divine design - with fine art and interior styling. ​

Besides art and design, she has a passion for sharing personal development and spirituality, relating to the sobriety journey, but with a 420-friendly twist.

Her mission is to inspire others to live authentically, without apology for being themselves, and to embrace their creative expression, because she insists that life is much more magical and fulfilling that way.
